2016 - Present
The web developer position at Abercrombie & Fitch helps manage the execution and publishing of assets and content for all of the Abercrombie & Fitch websites and APP. The role introduced me in working with a wide array of team members such as Project Managers, Digital Designers, UX Designers, Developers, Site Merchandisers, Site Operations and many more. The positions foundation lies upon existing technology, databases, content management systems, and CRM tools. Work within these tools allows the developer to execute content for seasonal and daily updates on time with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and integrated 3rd party content for marketing and promotions. My main focus has included building content for Domestic and International sites for kids and adult brands. Other duties include partnering with translation teams to ensure correct verbiage is used in International markets. We also coordinate with the Testing and Analytics team to execute on site tests daily and actively support IT with day of code fixes for the site.
2014 - 2015
The Student Technology Assistant Center (STAC) offers peer-to-peer instruction on a variety of software applications including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Apple iLife, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office and more. These services are available to undergraduate, graduate, and distance students at Bowling Green State University. The STAC has allowed me to enhance my communication and creative skills by tutoring students in the various softwares listed above and in subjects such as photography, web design, video and graphic design, where I even had the oppurtunity to teach a few workshops.
July 2014 - Occasional Work
Legends Sports Photography is a youth sports photography company that focuses on individual and group picture taking. At Legends, I work as a front line photographer, interacting with adults and children daily. Other duites inlcude assiting in photo editing, studio tear down and set up and graphic work.
April 2014 - July 2014 (Internship)
My Community Focus is a public, educational, and government access television station that serves local cities in Northeast Ohio. television is a youth sports photography company that focuses on team and individual picture taking. My Community Focus allowed me to gain valuable experience working in many different areas such as videographer filming studio and outdoor events, video editing, studio production involvement and helping redesign their website.
